Troubleshooting

In this guide, we will go through some of the steps we recommend to perform some basic troubleshooting. However, this guide serves as general reference and it is essential to note that attempting to fix these tables can be hazardous. Please keep in mind it is best practice to keep tables clutter free. The information provided herein is not a substitute for professional expertise.

Check the Power Source

Inspect the power cord to ensure its securely plugged into the table and the outlet. You would be surprised how often this the cause of it all!

Double check that the outlet is functional by plugging another device in and testing it.

Check for Obstructions

If the machine remains powered but still stuck, the most common cause is likely due to an obstruction. You will need to determine the location of the obstruction. To look for the jam, you will need to open the table and check the shuffling mechanism and tile conveyor belt.  To do so, remove the plastic rim surrounding the mahjong table. Lift the tabletop and open the shuffling cabin by raising the shuffling control panel. Check for any debris or small items that might have gotten stuck. You can also check the conveyor belt and interior of the table for any signs of blockage.

Test Run

If you discovered an issue and cleared a blockage, it would be a good idea to do a test run at this point. Add your tiles, install your tabletop back in place, and power your table back up to shuffle your tiles. If the problem still persists, consult a professional mahjong technician.
